In the 1980 I coordinated with the pentagon about such a mas-casualty type event and how to expanded medical services on military bases....in a emergency.
Apparently from that input they came up with the DEPMEDS hospital among other things. The Armed Services can react and mobilize faster than most people think, within the United States.
The military knows how to address this threat. My fear is our civilian counterparts even with training are inept other than specialized Hospitals strategically places throughout the US.
My observation is the Military and Specialized treatment centers are active in this response compared to past responses ...
That and that alone has activated my senses and BS meter. To take notice.
Much like a possible war in Europe. There was a 30 day window to respond to aggression. After 30 days. Europe was lost.
Considering the visual news as to how COVID-19 is being handled. I expect more HOT spots are and will be quarantined including major cities, schools and transportation systems.
