It is a little more challenging than a glucose test, even a glucose test with interference correction. Virus is a small bugger to measure. But KB did a polio test kit a number of years ago to run on an instrument called Reflotron. He told me the other day how he accomplished the test kit when he was at BMD (now Roche). The same process will work with DECN's technology and Covid-19.
The following short discussion is for THE consultant to the industry. The DECN solution will require two test strips. The first test strip will be a tight spec calibrator, pre-made to tell the reading instrument (meter) exactly what to expect from the upcoming human sample. Every calibrator will code the meter to look for a dead certain change in current from the human sample and then determine whether the human sample changed the current output enough to product a POSITIVE -- or not.
I am asking THE consultant if he thinks this will work.
