$HTSC An ADU is a second structure on a residential lot in addition to the main house. Recently, in both Los Angeles and Riverside Counties, these dwelling units have received a significant amount of attention because the cities and state have drastically relaxed the restrictions and rules around building ADUs. The new rules have created a boom of interest by homeowners to build an ADU, and now homeowners realize that an ICF ADU is valuable as a Safe House for protection against fire, earthquake, destructive winds and the spread of the coronavirus.
