Ebola was easier , people are contagious when they start symptoms , the more severe symptoms the more contagious ..
The worse here , they think maybe 2 weeks before symptoms people are contagious..
As for mortality , we will not know until is over ..
And very important that administration stopped flight to some countries very early , we be in much worse shape by now otherwise...
During SARS , I was working in Central NJ and NYC , everyone was talking , mortality about 2%, until after epidemic finished , we know from some statistics it was 14-15% , and people 60 and older closer to 50%..
With MERS 35%..also zoonotic coronavirus .
So we really don't know..
But because 2 weeks before symptoms , to be contagious , I see no possibilities for very good containing of the problems .
And again if homeless will start , then God help those Cites ...
But if Leronlimab will prevent deaths , this will be blessing .....
Of course IMO...but base on my medical experience...
