Exactly what I have been saying...investors and BP are not generally clueless, so what is it about CYDY that makes them sit on the sidelines, while other companies with fewer indications and fewer trials as far along as ours are, are getting SP spikes, buyout offers and/or partnership offers. What are we missing
Just my opinion: This is the first question one asks, why?? I am happy with the fact that this company is being supported exclusively by retail investors. You and me and about 2000 other people.
Opposite to other companies with, or without revenue or products, we do not have any institucional investors. Most companies do from he very beginning. The way CYDY came in existence was such that this did not happen. I really don't know if there has been any approaches, just that nobody has invested large amounts in CYDY by purchasing its stock in open market.
How much power do we have ?? Enough to have the price around $1, not more, not less...
Why the stock does not go higher and spikes ??? Easy: no institucional investors are participating. These are the big boys that make an stock go up or down. They have 100's of millions available and can make a company move either direction. The majority of retail are already on our limit without much collective capital left to bid the price up.
Why are they not investing? Well, they have rules in their great majority (listed in a major stock exchange like NASDAQ or NYSE) and with SP above a threshold ($5 typically).
Why are companies with no revenue being bough out ?? They have a compelling story to tell (we do), they have a "new" product (we partially do) and their product has synergy with the buying company at the proper price. We have a limited amount of options in this area. In HIV we are serious competition for most of them jeopardizing their current products and patents, in Oncology we are not "proven" yet.
Could we be bought up ?? Yes. However, whomever does it has to be a very large company in the Oncology space willing to pay what NP thinks we are worth. Can think only of about 5 companies like this in the USA (well, is relative of what big is and what the fair price is).
So, we need to up list and we need to say: hello I am being sold. I don't think we have effectively done the latter (if there is interest in the BOD for this). So we need to work on the former and the price will spike.
