Well, let's keep things in check just a bit, not falling into the media frenzy that has tanked the stock market and caused counties to close their borders to people from other countries, and counties in California to declare "health emergencies" even though no cases have been reported in those counties.
Corona is most deadly to the same population as those who die from the flu...elderly people with pre-existing conditions. The death rate is about 3% overall, which is the same as the flu. And we cannot get Americans to get flu shots because hey, it's just the flu, right? MOST PEOPLE do NOT DIE from coronavirus, and it most cases, it's pretty mild, just like the flu. Somewhere between 400,000 and 600,000 will die of the flu this year, including, on average, about 50,000 in America alone.
People are panicked over the coronavirus thanks to the media whipping it up and because it is something new. We don't have a vaccine for it and we really don't have one for the flu either, we just have something that makes it so that if you get the flu, it might not be as bad as if you didn't get the flu shot.
Yes coronavirus is potentially series, but no moreso than the flu, at least at this time, and we don't close borders all over the world because of the flu.
