And the FDA is forbidding hospitals to do their own coronavirus testing, even though the CDC put out information on the protocol to follow -- it can be done with chemicals etc. that a decently-equipped lab already has.
But the FDA found a rule that said that once THEY are looking at something, you can only do it with Federal approval -- so now hospitals that WERE able to test no longer are allowed to do it.
Evidently this is all because ONE bureaucrat decided to exert authority, making his pathetic little ego feel good.
This is what happens when you don't have any agency in place that is truly equipped to handle a pandemic -- which we KNEW would be coming eventually, whether Ebola, SARS, this virus, or some other infectious threat to humanity.
