You are welcome, your 60K shares is only 5% of my holding. I invest in QTMM not because I trust Stephen Squires, it is because I believe in quantum dots. Quantum dot is the future.
For large number of solar panels, lower cost is significant. Higher efficiency will be achieved as new technique is discovered. Theoretically QD solar cell has a maximum solar energy conversion efficiency of 65% as it emits multiple excitons per photon of light absorbed as compared to only one exciton in silicon solar cell.
Scientists at University of Queensland, Australia has achieved 16.5% and are planning to achieve 20% next. It was only 2.7% back in 2010.
Stephen said QMC has the best and brilliant scientists in the whole world, may be they will surprise the world with a 40% conversion efficiency.
QD solar panel will make the labor intensive high cost silicon solar panel obsolete. Certainly it will capture the huge solar market in Saudi Arabia:
