I didn't even think about state. I'm only thinking of a 37% capital gains rate that is far too high to begin with, should a buyout happen at a PPS range I don't agree with. People that own several million shares can afford to think differently about this matter. But the taxes for my portfolio, including state taxes, will be very significant at the wrong share price. I wish I didn't get caught up in the constant "UNVC conglomerate and several dollars at $10 and more a share" rhetoric that many have preached here. I still hope this can happen and for Dalton to make this a gamechanger. I want to pay off my parents' house completely and help them in other matters as well, and also my sister and her children as well. And finally having enough myself to retire and live a good life for a long time in a while. I'm also going to try not to post very often on this board anymore, due to some of the thumbs downs I'm getting lately.(I'm also only able to post 5 times a day) A buyout obviously works more for investors owning millions of shares. Throw in state taxes now and I could face a mountain of taxes if this is done for a lower PPS offer. I still hope for the conglomerate and several dollars scenario, which I've read on SEVERAL occasions here. Several. Regardless of any more thumbs downs reactions I get. At least it's not IHUB.
