He can't come back after the fact and say he wasn't aware or whatever. He's the freaking CEO of the company. If he is not aware, maybe he shouldn't be the CEO and someone else should be who knows what the heck is going on and will take ownership of everything.
It's that simple.
There were numerous PRs out there, there was a CC that stated clearly what would happen.
Everyone read them, everyone heard it. He seems to be the only one who thinks otherwise, while all the shareholders who bought based on the PRs, based on the CC heard all one common thread that was told to them.
It's a scary thing when the CEO of a company is telling his shareholders they are wrong in believing what he told them.
