Well, I doubt they could do a retroactive Record D

Well, I doubt they could do a retroactive Record Date. However, they certainly could find a way... maybe direct emails from brokerages with fill orders attached (of course, shareholders would have to be notified w a PR and get their brokers to do it... but it would presumably be worth the effort!).

Conceivably how could they even fix it? Retroactive a record date of 2/24 and back out shares owned before 2/17? The logistics don’t easily come to mind.
