I just sent this email to Joe...
"Right from you 2/7/2020 press release
“With the new February 17th record date being established, those who are entitled to receive the 5/2 stock dividend in Generex and the 5/2 stock dividend in NuGenerex Immuno-Oncology will receive it directly from the company. In addition, the pay date is now February 24th and ex-date is February 25th. If a shareholder sells the stock after the record date the pay due bill process will be in full effect and the shareholder will be required to transfer the dividend stock to the buyer.”
It does not say the pay date and ex date only apply to 1 of the 2 dividends.
And from your 2/13/2020 conf call
“I will update our shareholders on our ongoing activities such as Generex Investor Call Feb. 13, 2020 Page 3 of 31 Generex dividends, which the record date is Monday, February 17. The pay day is February 24. The X day is February 25. As a reminder, the dividend formula is five for two. It is five shares of Generex owned for two new shares of Generex paid by the company. For every five shares of Generex you own, you will receive two new shares in NuGenerex immune-oncology.”
Again, if gives dates and talks about BOTH dividends and did not separate the 2 dividends with different pay and ex dates.
Joe, when we spoke on the phone this past Friday 2/21/2020, I mentioned that I purchased 13,500 more shares of GNBT on 2/20/2020 specifically to get the NGIO shares since I thought that was going to be the big money maker now. You congratulated me on buying more. You DID NOT say “Steve you do not that shares purchased 2/17/2020 and after don’t get the NGIO shares”. I certainly WOULD NOT have purchased shares for just the GNBT dividend since we knew the exchange would reduce the price of GNBT by the dividend percentage on the ex div date. There would be no reason to do that this close to the ex date.
I am ticked off Joe. This is not right and was never mentioned before your PR today. I believe you are going to have an issue here and I have been a big supporter of yours now for years. This is just incorrect and never detailed differently in ANY prior PR or conference call."
