SinglePoint (OTCQB: SING) on Monday announced that CFO Corey Lambrecht discussed an outline of the company’s direction on the Cleantech and Climate Change Podcast. Lambrecht also discussed unaudited 2019 financial results for SING’s Direct Solar of America subsidiary, which the company acquired in May of 2019. “What I can say is that it finished with a couple million dollars in revenue for that particular year,” SinglePoint CFO Corey Lambrecht stated during the podcast. In addition, the company this morning announced that its Direct Solar of America subsidiary is expanding its national solar brokerage footprint to include Minnesota and Wisconsin. As recently reported in the Star Tribune, Legislators in Minnesota have summarized their 2020 agenda including a requirement that all the electrical energy generated for the state come from carbon-free sources such as wind and solar power. “This is an exciting time for the company as the appetite for solar and energy storage solutions continue to rise, we look forward to continuing to add markets such as Wisconsin and Minnesota to fuel our growth in the residential and light commercial sector,” SinglePoint chairman & CEO Greg Lambrecht stated in the news release. “The solar and clean energy solutions (both in the Americas and globally) have undergone enormous change over the last decade and we feel the acquisition of Direct Solar of America has firmly positioned SinglePoint and its stakeholders to take advantage of the opportunities created by these changes as we move into the next 10 years that is being described as the Solar+ Decade.”
