1) If everybody had muted the telephones the conference call (CC) would had been event-free. Some people could just not do it. Was it purposely done ?? Maybe yes, maybe not. Which bring us to the second point.
2) What kind of company expects only 100 listeners and expects that all of them will mute the telephone ???. An unexperienced one and also one used to VERY small CCs. Obviously they where not ready for the number of call-ins and obviously do not have the technology to manage this kind of conferences. Everybody needs to be muted and have a queue and unmute one by one the callers by a pecking order (maybe first in first out).
3) Is CYDY at fault? Well, if RedChip lied to Cytodyn presenting themselves as capable no, but, obviously the relationship need to be re-assessed. They seem to be either amateurs or did not realize how great CYDY is
and how many will be accessing the call (and account for the potential of shorts/disrupters calling in).
4) How did the CC go? Well, nothing new really. The most interesting part would had been the Q/A section that was not viable.
5) What is next ?? Maybe RedChip needs to be removed. I don't think the SP will (or should be) affected. NP needs to have a very good conference on the 25th and explain what transpired if possible as part of it.
Is not the end of the world, remember, some of the callers where really the problem (not saying RedChip should not be able to handle disrespectful participants).
