"Joe, it seems that you think we understand things the way you do. There are shortcuts in your business verbiage that I for one do not understand. It's obvious you know what you are trying to say, but I don't think we get it 100% of the time. This may be one source of the disconnect between some of us shareholders and mgmt. Most of us are not professional traders or in the business community. Maybe you can dummy down some of your comments or organize them in a fashion that will improve our comprehension. It would be appreciated."
Coronavirus:
I'm not sure how much is new in that I don't know if Generex has actually funded any new research for the vaccine. I remember hearing some of the same things during the swine flu epidemic. I don't remember when Ph. I trials were conducted. There certainly haven't been any recent PR's about vaccine research. As Dr. EvH stated how can you test a vaccine once the epidemic is over? It sounds like NGIO recently ramped up the program in response to the CV and are ahead of the field because of its synthetic make-up of the culture.
Nonetheless, there is valid data that can jump start NGIO's efforts. Twenty years of (intermittent) data has to count for something. I'm not sure how meaningful it is that 400 patients tolerated the bird flu vaccine, but it's better than if they got sick from it.
Other than the Shenzhen collaboration with AE 37 and prostate cancer, the entire China angle is a mystery. It takes two to tango as we learned in India. After so many pandemics that started in China maybe they are serious this time and will fund something with NGIO. The potential is excited, but you know what they say about potential-potential gets coaches fired. Joe sounds excited, so I'll share his enthusiasm that something will get done.
" We are now awaiting a contract which we will announce once completed. At this point, we believe we have a deal. That deal will be done once the contract is received and ultimately agreed to. Our upfront payment, just not the work,is received."
Dividends:
They are coming. Only one more week to wait. They'll show up in our accounts on 2/24. It seems clear that much of our progress has been bottle-necked because the dividends couldn't be distributed.
S-1:
Even after reading it, I'm unsure of some of Joe's language. When he say's the S-1 "is up there", I'm not sure what that means. SEC? What is the "addendum of the deal"? Whatever, the S-1 will close after the dividend is paid. "It is our S1 funding, our S1 completion, as well as all the other maintenance Generex needs to do moving forward." I'm not sure what this sentence means, either, and the details of the S-1 funding are still a mystery. Will it serve as a line of credit to be used as needed? How will it be repaid? What are the terms?
NASDAQ Listing:
Still weeks or months away. "We are hoping that over the next weeks to months that all significant assets we have as well as go-forward plans with all subsidiaries. Once the funding comes in, we will be able to just focus on our business model." I don't know what this means.
Whatever it means, I still believe there are PR's stacked up. I don't believe Joe and the mgmt. team have been sitting around waiting for FINRA and the SEC to do their jobs. Uplisting should get the MSO and the other initiatives in the business plan moving forward.
NGIO Spinout:
This should fatten our accounts as well as the GNBT balance sheet. Joe believes it will get Generex over the $2 uplisting requirements. In the Q&A Joe stated that NGIO would be spun out as an IPO.
NGIO itself will be uplisted directly to NASDAQ. The audits have been completed, as is the S-1. Completion of the partner review (I don't know what that is.) should be imminent.
Operations Update:
Funding from the S-1 should enable Generex to sign contracts "with three major clinics in Arizona". Build out of the HMO (I thought it was an MSO.) should follow shortly.
I had enough trouble sorting through mgmt's comments. I'll go through the Q&A later to see if I have any questions or comments of my own. I went through this exercise for my own benefit in order to help me understand where Generex is. Hopefully, it helped others on the board. That's why we're here isn't it?
