Jimmy Carter economy and some bad luck took me out at the knee's before I could establish myself. However, I made some real money for 4 years.
Mini Mart Chain and Movie rental stores was where I was heading. My then retiring father-in-law, had a garbage business that could have been bought. I also had the only tire repair shop in a 25 mile radius.
No jobs, no money for college. The military was the only option.
