DirectScale, on Monday, announced via email direct
Post# of 32642
What they said is the field will have access to interactive video and a leading CRM in the DirectScale mobile app .
The app will be offered to all of DirectScale’s new and existing social, affiliate and direct sales clients . It combines DirectScale’s powerful administrative platform with VERB’s lead gen and sales tools.
Additional VERB sales tools will be available for in-app purchase directly by users through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
To me, it painted an even clearer picture then the PR below last month as it should since almost 30 days have past.
I imagine DS has an app today for people to check their back office stuff. Not sure I've found it yet and maybe there are multiple. Likely it's white labeled under each customer so you won't find it.
This new app will have DS core features, plus some VERB features
Then the user can add more features through in app purchasing.
For those not familiar with that, it means VERB isn't asking you for a credit card, it's all going through the app stores. So if you ever bought anything in the past from any other company, it's the same type of purchase which is easy.
Likely the new DS app by VERB has an cost associated with it to get interactive videos, CRM, analytics, reporting etc. So possibly an upgrade than what DS customers have today.
Then if you want "more" like sampling as one example, you would do that through in app purchasing.
Why this is a big deal is DirectScale said they had 3 million customers in 2017 after a couple of years. Now a couple of years later, how many do they have?
Your guess is as good as mine, but I am thinking millions more.
When VERB signs up a company, they might have 10 users or 500,000 users and a percentage of them use the app which may vary. Some people like using the phone, driving all over town and running to the post office. Habits sometimes are hard to break and some don't like change. That's why they invented flip phones.
Others love change. Let's say DS has 5M users.
Which is better?
Selling to 10 or 100K users at a time or 5M?
If you answered the latter, I suspect VERB can double their user based this year which would be unbelievable crazy and it's the speed of growth analysts look at.
