Underestimate it? Not at all...but you need to look at FACTS and not just actions. China is also VERY conscious of how the world sees it, and locking down cities is very scary, but is it totally necessary? Hard to tell, honestly, and that is not my line of work, but again China, as a country, is a very different animal.
60,000 will die in the US from the flu this year and we cannot get people to get vaccinated against it. Is that a tragedy or just Darwinism? If less than 60,000 die from coronavirus, should we be taking the flu more seriously?
