I personally think this is about as good of a resolution as we could have had to this morass. There is a little something for most everybody, even if it's not the original deal.
For those who just wanted to move forward, we have resolution and removal of the hurdle (even if the hurdle was somewhat self-created, as many argue).
For those who wanted increased ownership, there is the NGIO portion of the div. I think of it this way. The div will happen before the spin. Therefore, the 2 NGIO shares are of indeterminate value and can't be factored into a new price. The MMs will factor the price of GNBT to 5/7 of the price, but the NGIO shares are still 2 shares of something "extra" that will hopefully be big. Of course, if you wanted increased GNBT ownership %, you can also buy now at what is a great price (if you still believe). Nothing material has happened, so the price hasn't moved, as many of us expected... so the price is better than ever.
For those who have sold but believe again, you can buy back in now (or add more), again, the price is most likely below where you sold, and you still get the NGIO shares.
Yes, I'm not fully pleased, but it's mostly because we are months behind schedule. But the runway is now clear. Bring on the NGIO spin, propel the S-1, and let's get on with business.
