It could also be someone with an account at a brokerage who charges by the share instead of by the order. I doubt it's anyone buying on etrade. There has to be two sides though, so who knows.
Usually when that happens it's someone trying to make it look like something it's not. This didn't help or hurt anything, IMO. This 10,000 guy has been around though. Someone pointed him out a while ago & I've spotted him a few times since.
