PokerStar. Exactly right. I have been trading this continually since Nov 2019 and maintain a board for it on a serious trading forum where most traders interested in it get their information.
The contemporaneous record shows the pattern of those who try to dupe others to fill their bid - you can even see the precise same amounts walked down several ticks when people fail to hit the ask aggressively enough.
The explosive moves upwards happen when someone who knows the game being played sets a buy for say 500K set several ticks above the walk down attempts. That takes out sometimes an entire .0010 > .0020 increment to the upside. When a few traders do it you get the larger moves.
That is exactly how we got .0045 > .0065 / .0065 > .0085 / .0085 > .0100+ / .0100 > .0115 / .0115 > .0125.
Also, provided asks are cancelled before the open, there is often a large gap up and further move up - as shown in the DD I posted here:

The key to success is always to have batches of shares bought at every .0010 > .0020 price band to always have something to trade on surges - whilst always holding a core to keep for when it is back in the .02 > .05 range.
