Unfortunately, I somewhat disagree. When doctors don't know about the drug yet, patients have to be their own advocates, which means doing their own research. Borderline libelous twitter posts are going to show up when a newly-diagnosed patient is doing their own research...
Long run? No, it won't matter. Not to us. Unfortunately some patients "long" run isn't that long. The folks writing falsehoods to make money will probably realize this only when they're frozen solid in Cocytus.
