Before our product was enhanced to ALSO monitor driving habits as well as Distracted Driving, dealerships were offering what we had to offer to parents to monitor their children's cell phone usage while driving. There was no monetary benefit to the insured, and dealerships had no incentive other than make a small commission on the sale.
Allstate (DriveWise) and Progressive (SnapShot) are hugely successful products; however, neither monitors Distracted Driving, but only driving habits.
Now that our product(s) are enhanced to include monitoring of driving habits as well as Distracted Driving, insurance companies have tremendous incentives to have their insured install our product(s). Distracted Driving accidents cost tens of millions of dollars, and personal injury lawsuits many times more in compensation.
So, concentrating on insurance company makes sense. The incentive is there to promote what we offer.
