I never said he said it was a sure thing, he said "We are on track for Friday" and then he went dark once Friday came. Not cool. Sure, we want it right, but don't give a date, say things are on track, and then go dark and make us wonder what's wrong.

An easy fix is to bring it up and say "we need a few more days but all is good." Just be accountable ALL the time, not some of the time. That is the job of a CEO.
