There are lots of drugs that behave differently in women than in men. This has become increasingly discussed because there are dosing issues, suitability of different drugs, etc.
However, how long it takes a pill to dissolve in the gut shouldn't be any different between men and women. There's likely to be significant variability between any two people, probably more between individuals than any difference between sexes. It makes sense not to take the liability of the small dose of radiation.
