I have read over your Big Picture posts. It is a sad. Most of you see some part of the big picture but stay with in the business world and it goes much bigger than that.
On the world stage we have China and the USA set to lock heads like the US and USSR back in the sixties and seventies.
China, run the rare earth market and use it to undercut prices and blackmail companies to come to China, primarily to rob IT and control price in trade. I will not go over the history of this.
The US has after 10 years woke up the fact that the US needs a US rare earth supply chain top to bottom. DOD has made the first of moves in this global chess game.
It is in the best interest of China if Ucore fails and goes bankrupt. So what would China do to this end? Lots of bashers on all the bulletin boards, sell short to force the price down no matter the cost, buy or steal MRT tech, or pay Steve to tie Ucore up in cort as long as possible? In short just about anything.
The US opening moves to counter. Shot gun approach like the Manhattan project. Spread money around to many conpanies to get tech up and running to give DOD a test bed to start with and work from.
Has any company or companies beside the Ucore consortium come out with bids on a Mine to magnets supply chain?
Does anybody think that Steve will win? So it take a while, so what. We all started this ten years ago on a rich rare earth mine that was next to a deep water sound.
Has any of you been selling into the good news and buying back in when the the price dropped, and dropped, and dropped?
Does anybody here think that DOD will not build a supply chain for rare earths?
Do any of you have a clue of how much money DOD will spend not to be painted into a corner over rare earths, either by the US congress or China?
The big buys smell money to be had and Ucore is the one company they are talking to.
So as much as we talk about Ucore not doing anything, cool your jets. Remember loose lips sink ships.
