I was able to go from slow motion to accerated time

People don't have time these days to stop at signs or even use turn signals
Although I think the people that don't use turn signals don't know where they are going in life
How many people doing a U-turn ever put on a turn signal?
It's pretty low

Too embarrassed they were going on the wrong direction

But, there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do

You have to prioritize
You have to shift priorities, not for birthday cakes, but to do what's best for the company and long-term
If you are on the outside, looking in

I did start up, not one but two companies, so I speak from experiences
We were moving so fast, time was standing still for everyone around us (i.e. QuickSilver)
Keep in mind, this was when Salesforce was in the crowd/cloud
Well, the cloud didn't exist back then
Others, didn't perceive time in the same way
If you are on the outside, you hope a company can change the world in a day
Your OK if it takes a week, and at the outside, maybe you can wait a month
If you are a trader, your time horizon is minutes and hours
Reality is, it takes years
Doesn't mean it will take years for your investment to accelerate but VERB isn't going to be Salesforce tomorrow
Being someone that grew up in technology
Someone that was there when Salesforce was so tiny, my perception of time is different than most
