AC Kinetics, Inc. will be introducing its first green AC Induction Motor control algorithms that simultaneously reduce energy consumption and increase motor performance at the ARPA-e show February 25-27 in Washington D.C. The team’s first motor control technology, which also reduces vibrations and acoustics, was invented in 1990 and patented by MIT. That same technology is on hundreds of millions of motor-powered machines worldwide, ranging from larger cranes to computer disk drives. Capstone is looking to apply that high level of expertise into new models, adding even more substance to its current product lines.
