Fidelity doesn't allow opening positions in stocks

Fidelity doesn't allow opening positions in stocks with a stop sign. That has come up several times since I've been trading OTC, started in 2016.
I guess this is relatively new with Fidelity, because several people have reported having old positions that they can sell, but can't add to, in numerous stop sign stocks.
Once the stock goes current, you can buy it all day long with Fidelity. But as we know, when UNVC goes current, the cheap shares will be gone in a flash!
