Back during my college days, which was about a 100 years ago, I used to play chess. Although I enjoyed it, I could never stay away from the bridge table long enough to develop much in the way of chess skills. Just as soon as someone brought out a deck of cards my interest in chess, as well as most everything else, completely disappeared.
