Two more VERB 2020 goals in motion.
RX Hacker is truly an affiliate marketing program
For those that don't know what that means and a lot of people don't...
"Affiliate marketing is the process by which an affiliate earns a commission for marketing another person's or company's products."
Unlike direct sales, they aren't selling the product directly. They are recommending it and educating people
The RX hacker card is free, so this is all about educating the end user
Leonard Pastrana, Chief Marketing Officer of Rx Hacker was a Pharmacist at CVS for 7.5 years so he knows a thing or two about Pharmacies and Drugs
So what's in it for the affiliate marketeer?
How about a $1 or more every time someone uses the card. Saw one company that had commission of $1.75
Let's say you give the card to someone that takes medication monthly. That's $12-$21 in your pocket, every year.
The ideal affiliate marketeer maybe would be pharmacists, businesses, organizations, clinics, or doctors?
I've used one of these cards before and it is crazy simple. It's either cheaper than using your insurance cards or not so you decide what you want to do.
So does RXHacker really need the VERB app to do this?
Absolutely. What I think happens is people sign up to be an affiliate, make some money, get busy with other things and forget about it.
Affiliate engagement is the key and those affiliates engaging the people they recommend using the card.
It really is a nice fit.
"Hey red, saw you used the card the other day and saved $20. Is it working well for you? Anyone else you know I can help?"
"Hey, red, it's been awhile since you used the card. Is there anything I can do to help you? "
BTW - Walgreens, CVS, Rite-Aid, Safeway, Target, getting mentioned in the PR is a nice touch and brings in more attention.
