Remote , this is very interesting question at this

Last week I read that some new coronavirus , similar to SARS and MERS , started in China now , some cases were transported already from China to Thailand and Japan..
So I started to read about it ,
SARS virus significantly induces expression of CCR-1 , CCR-3 and CCR-5 !!!.
All together mortality about 15%..
Will Leronlimab help , possibilities , but studies will need to be done..
Symptoms of the new virus are very similar to SARS and MERS , they not sure at this time how dangerous it could be...
As I was looking threw different articles , I read interesting study about Hepatitis and CCR5 .
Study was done with patients with Heterozygosities for CCR5 Delta32 , it was observed that those patients were associated with spontaneous Hepatatis C viral clearance , compare to other patients , and much less hepatic inflammation...
Since we do see more Hepatitis in patients HIV positive , this is another reason to change to Leronlimab for HIV treatment , with R5 strain virus patients .
With HAART we often see warning , sometimes black box warning , to be careful with patients with Hepatitis as it may get much worse, sometimes fatal.
So look that studies on CCR-5 and CCR-5 inhibitors are still very young and bringing new information ...
Many diseases to learn with time...
All IMO..
