For years, management has been talking about going to THC when it's legalized. They've stopped talking but I have no reason to believe their long-term strategy is any different, and I do have reason, namely the way they're laying their cards out, to believe that it's still part of their plan. It's a natural progression, right? From CBD to THC. And if CBD is, as some market reports suggest, likely to be in excess of a $20B business in a few years, THC has to be a whole lot bigger. This entire process, seen through a long-term lens, can be seen as a company positioning itself for a foothold in the THC future.
Which I suppose would make CBD a gateway product.
