If it would really derisk us would mainly depend on the Terms.
I dont like the idea to put our intellectual property on stake (as colleteral) for that. That sounds actual risky for me.
If we dont have to put lero as coleteral, that could be fine.
And obv. no toxic convertible clauses anymore.
Maybe they would accept Pestels Test as colleteral for that purpose. Come on Nader you are a great salesman!
I think they would do better, to get outlicencing overseas for some indications with good upfront. Need do be done anyways. Would not expect us to build a salesforce outside the US.
Edit: I believe a long time already we are derisked, because even in case of unlikely chapter11, we would get more than actual marketcap in a firesale for our asset. What pricetag you think is GILD willing to pay, to make sure nobody else can get it.
