Some IT project take a couple of weeks. Some take years.
Just look at how long it takes Microsoft to come put with a new version of Windows or Apple a new release of iOS and I am not talking about patches or point releases
If you read the 5 links I posted late last year, you know a few things.
The customer app took about a year to create
As with any IT project, not all that duration is coding

It's going to incentivize customers to share with customers so they can earn a product
It's going to also incentivize brand partners to share it and go get yourself 6-8-10 customers"
This is going to be big in my opinion.
Another revenue stream
The app is already out there.
Multiple customers have already signed on.
