The main problem is the CYDY is still on the OTC, so the likelihood of a couple of investment companies throwing $20 million each at CYDY is low
Of course, we don’t have a way to be certain. However, the listing consideration will not be a deterrent for the majority of investors in the conference. By the contrary, most of them are looking for early investment opportunities. Some even want to participate on the development of potential drugs BEFORE the company is public.
I did a search for “venture” in the name of the participating investors. Got 78 hits. Another search for “angel” yielded 7. Almost randomly searched some companies at the beginning of the list form several countries . Results below (highlights are mine):

Since our inception in 2006, we have managed over €120 million across our three funds, BGV I, BGV II and BGV III. Our first two funds BGV I and BGV II, launched in 2006 and 2012 respectively, have yielded major successes including Dezima Pharma and Acerta Pharma which were sold within three years at multi-billion dollar deal valuations. We are now actively looking for new seed and early stage investment opportunities in biotech , medtech & diagnostics companies for BGV III launched in 2017.

As you can see these are risk takers, companies being public or not, being listed or not. And there are around 1000 of them.

I don’t believe the difference is going to bring in $60 million in stock purchases this week and push the SP to $1.4-1.6.
Agree, I did not imply this was going to happen this week. They need to go to their boards and analyze the risk/reward factor. Also, likely, talk to CYDY’s management. We will see the possible infusions of capital in the next few weeks (if any).
Bear in mind CYDY institutional ownership stands at 3 These institutions hold a total of 575,200 shares . Largest shareholders: InterOcean Capital, LLC, Diversified Trust Co, and Inverness Counsel Llc /ny/.
This needs to change and soon !!! 575K shares only is a BIG FAT joke !!!!
