Good for President Trump. President Donald Trump’s administration is about to make it easier for companies to build pipelines, bridges, and roads without an environmental review. The overhaul is aimed at speeding up energy projects and other developments by limiting the number of projects that require in-depth environmental review and expediting the process for those that do. It will also prevent liberal quack judges from stopping projects because the projects didn't take into account global warming.
I've spent over a decade researching "Man-made global warming." At the start, I was gung ho. It seemed obvious. CO2 was a greenhouse gas, it captures infrared heat waves and prevents the warmth from escaping back into space.
A climate scientist produced the hockey stick graph to prove that global warming was taking place. According to his graph, prior to the industrial revolution, the world's temperature was stable, but once we started spewing CO2 into the air, from coal-burning trains, etc. the world's temperature shot up. It looked like a hockey stick laying on the ground, with the part that hits the puck, pointing up.
However, when people tried to reproduce his findings, they didn't find a sudden rise in world temperatures. It turned out that he had faked the temperatures. There was no sudden warming. But people still point to that graph as proof of global warming.
For decades now, ALL the "proofs" reported by global warmest's, have been shown to be based on faked facts. And as further proof, right out in the open for anybody to see, none of their predictions have come to pass.
There has been a slight gradual warming, and even raising of the ocean level, which can be traced back to the end of the ice age (ice ages come and go) using various methods to show this, and since we started measuring temperature, starting well before the industrial revolution, it has been shown to be a steady (averaged) temperature rise of a small fraction of a degree, same with the ocean rise.
The rise in CO2 levels since the industrial revolution has NOT affected that rise. As of 2019, the rate of rise in the global temperature and the rise in the ocean's level, has not increased.
In case you are wondering, Australia's fires are NOT due to climate change!
Dr. Jennifer Marohasy, an Australian environmental scientist, stated that this year's temperature in Australia, though certainly scorching hot, is also historically normal, as any climate scientist can verify. Australia's hottest ever reliable temperature recording was 125 degrees Fahrenheit at the Bourke Post Office on January 3, 1909. In addition, this year's bush fires, despite their terrible toll on people and wildlife, are by no means Australia's largest.
Australia's most widespread fire occurred "on 13th January 1939 (Black Friday), when 5 million acres burned, with ash falling on New Zealand. That was the worst bush fire catastrophe in Australia’s modern recorded history in terms of area burnt, and it was 80 years ago."
While Australia was bone dry before this year's fires started, Australia is ALWAYS bone dry at this time of year. This year's rainfall is historically normal.
What's different this year, is that normally Australia's governmental forestry department clears brush away from the trees, and conducts controlled burns, but environmental activists, along with an increasingly Green government, put a halt to this procedure.
Once the fires started, whether by lightning, or arsonists, (over one hundred arsonists have been arrested), the underbrush burned red hot, like kindling, and in turn, started igniting the trees.
(Me: It's possible some of the arsonists started the fires in order to bring home the idea that global warming, if not stopped, will destroy the world. Uncontrolled forest fires, and even the deaths involved, is heartbreaking, but it has to be done for the greater good of saving mankind. This is pure speculation.)

Hollywood actors, during the Golden Globes, with host Ricky Gervais joking that they tend to have less schooling than Greta Thunberg, used the Golden Globes to push the warming narrative. Australian Russel Crowe said, "The tragedy unfolding in Australia is climate-change based.” But, of course, with no scientific evidence to back up the claim.
Alarmists are going to scream about Trump denying global warming. Just as they are screaming about how Pebble is going to kill the salmon. All their screaming will amount to nothing because truth and science will decide Pebble's fate. That will also be why Trump and his EPA will prevail, and in doing so, will let Pebble prevail.
