There will be 1000+ investors there. The list is too large to paste here but there will be some heavy-hitters.
In the past conferences all we could say was: “We are developing the new paradigm in HIV treatment, currently doing P3 for combinational therapy, if approved we will be filing a BLA in the coming months".
Now we can say: “we are an Oncology company that has injected 4 patients with a drug that already has reduced to zero the CTC of a mTNBC patient after 14 weeks, and, a second patient with tumor volume reduction of 20% and will be applying for BTD soon. If this works, there is the potential for 22 more indications in Oncology.
All of this with no SAE’s so far.
By the way, we will be soon approved for combinational therapy in HIV and our current stock price sits at $1."
Let’s assume a couple of light-weight investment companies decide to stablish an exploratory position in CytoDyn, say with $20M each (pocket change for the majority of attending investors). We will have volume of 4M shares on the buy side for around 10 days or so (maybe more maybe less, of course).
The rise from $0.3 to around $1 was achieved with approximately 25.46 million shares traded on the buy side (I am counting only the green days and not accounting for churning days). We have had noteholders selling a considerable amount of shares in-between as well.
The point being, a push for the acquisition of 40M shares will rise the SP considerably. I believe that at his point the sellers are scarce (apart from noteholders) and the effect will easily put us in the $1.4- $1.6 range.
I know, LOTS of assumptions here but I am only assuming a couple of paltry investments of $20 Million in the open market. Now, if heavy-hitters enter the fray we will be talking a serious appreciation. However, don’t want to go any further into the speculation territory.
Just wanted to say that the moment we enter the era of institutional investors we will be dancing to a much different music (one that us, retail investors, would like to dance to, but have little choice as of how).
Can’t wait for next week and start dreaming of up-listing. I hope NP, the BOD and the “gang” have already the documents ready to be submitted. They will need them soon.
