Although leronlimab has amazing usefulness in many possible indications, I’m unaware of benefits in the treatment of influenza. In fact, CCR5 inhibition may worsen immune response to the virus. See https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3071059/.
Also, note that influenza viruses use sialic acid receptors to gain entry into a cell, not CCR5.
Perhaps you can point me to studies or a hypothesis as to why leronlimab would be useful in treating influenza and its sequelae?
