I agree that these boards can be a collective benefit to LONG shareholders, IF AND ONLY IF they are scoped to only those who share the same investment outlook, which is being a real shareholder, supporting the company in hopes it grows, so our investment grows. I don't mind the critical debate as long as I know everyone's big picture agenda is the same, to hold shares and see the stock price grow. Shorting, by its very nature, feeds on weakness, and the resulting bashing is toxic to the collective conversation. Thank goodness for Investor Hangouts.
