I recall as a kid my first grounding religious beliefs was Methodist. Wow the beautiful Church structures but the Catholic structures were so much bigger but they weren't allowed to eat meat on Friday's, nevertheless the fish fries on Friday nights still go on to this day and I do miss them. We are talking since the 1950's as I recall. Each religious teachings change over time but having to confess your sins to a man in a booth to knowingly release or to make yourself feel better isn't my way of thinking however it is better than no structured teaching. It is amazing that the Bible wasn't even converted to English until about the year 1600.
