past routine illness, you have to go to a specialist for treatment ...many of these duties are now being preformed by PA's and PRN's
Depending on location yearly wages can run from 85K to 150K.
Specialist knocking down 1/2 million plus per year is a problem.
However the bigger problem is the White Collar bureaucracy fleecing the system with multi million dollar CEO deals along with their staff.
