Well they have managed to outlast QDV and now looks like next domino to fall is Nanoco..so that's something pretty noteworthy. It looks as the industry is ramping up finally and cadmium moving forward is going to be eliminated so that will put some emphasis in QMCs main strength.I very much see that QDs in displays have become commoditized and the only way to make a lot of QDs at a price point that will move QD displays sales to the next level is by mass production.Steve has this right ( continous flow ) and it will finally bare fruit now that the pressure is on to find reliable sources of low cost high yield cad free QDs.Its apparent Dow or Merck couldn't mass produce with Nanocos seeding batch process and next it will be Nanosys struggling to supply at lower cost now that QD TVs have dropped in half.Samsung is wanting to ramp up but can Hansol realistically spend another 100 million to ramp up and at the same time reduce their costs..economy of scale!!!
Need to make things smaller and more efficient not larger and more inefficient
