However, I do feel that the GNBT PR campaigns and the info given to us in other ways have been a mixed bag at best. I feel that some of the best, most concrete aspects of the company are not being adequately touted while some of the esoteric or less-assured portions are trumpeted too early or too often.
Case in point, Excellagen. Don't brag about the incredible margins to a bunch of rich investors at a conference and imply that there are sales, then give investors zero follow up information on the path the product is taking. Why not spread the info about progress being made on VACs and what kind of addressable market that is opening up? Why not share the sales goals that must exist for the sales force and manufacturing pipeline?
And, of course, not all of the employees will participate in the windfall the owners hope to enjoy if this all goes well. There are people involved who are just employees that could roll their dice as a sign of faith in their bosses.
Again, when you're priced for failure, any positive signal can be a catalyst.
