i disagree. because this fake holiday has been accepted by a large mass of people,... it has become "traditional". that does not mean it can't be changed.
what you are suggesting is to stay stuck in the mud with a conviction (celebrating this man-made created holiday) just because others are doing it also. crowd mentality makes people more stupid.
news flash,...how do you think things change unless there are others that buck what is accepted as traditional and their bucking the system moves it to what is good for everyone.
did you know that in the 14th century the belief (Medieval Cosmology) was that the Earth was the center of the Universe and everything revolved around the Earth.
and,...that the earth was flat also was an accepted traditional belief.
those were traditional beliefs,...but once intelligence entered it was proved inaccurate.
leave open the possibility that what christians believe has been hoodwinked with a lot if inaccuracies.
