Yep, 'Gold Standard'(Science) + Service to Humanity (Dr. Dalton) =
Univec Conglomerate UNVC..
Now note Ken Frazier's philosophy, friend of Dr. Daltons.

"Merck CEO, Ken Frazier's Unusual Priority -- Science
May 15, 2019,
... Merck CEO Ken Frazier appeared at Boston College’s Chief Executive Club to talk about the state of the pharmaceutical industry.......

But, Frazier spent a lot of time talking about something not usually touched upon by the CEO of a major pharmaceutical company – the importance of science at Merck. He started by proclaiming Merck’s two prime motivators:

1) scientific excellence; (Reminds me of 'GOLD STANDARD')

2) providing service to humanity. (Reminds me of Dr. Dalton)

He then cited the legendary Merck CEO, Roy Vagelos, on the key metrics that drive Merck: “First, how many people do you help and second, how much help do you give those people? Get those two metrics and all the other metrics will fall into place.”

Frazier went on to trash the view espoused by economist Milton Friedman in the 1970s that the only responsibility of a company is to its shareholders. While this has become the mantra of many CEOs, it is one not shared by the Merck chief. Instead, he believes that a company needs to be driven by a “sense of purpose, not a sense of profits.”
