I asked for a deal or BLA by year end. We got a deal and an expected update that the BLA (likely) won't be done by year end.
Credit to NP and CYDY management where credit is due. They got a deal done, but not the BLA in the timeline they've been preaching. I'll take 1 of 2 and be reasonably happy.
Is it a great deal? Not right now. I'd love more upfront money, a stronger, more visible partner, and not to have signed a deal with Martin Shkreli's former company (truth is stranger than fiction).
In the long run, it may end up being a great deal (the 50% of net sales) IF Vyera can execute and sales of leronlimab in combo HIV are as expected, to say nothing of if Mono HIV is ever approved.
Am I happy about the $4M investment with warrants? Absolutely not, but it is what it is. Remains to be seen if Vyera will sell shares like all other warrant holders to date. If they hold the shares, then I am not as concerned.
All in all, I am content that CYDY has a partner to distribute leronlimab when it's approved for combo HIV.
We all knew what CYDY is - an OTC stock that trades at $0.30 and has no cash. CYDY had zero leverage, so I am content there is a deal at all.
