Yes - my sense is they are raising money and hiring sales staff. I laughed out loud when some asked Nader to spell the name of the company. You may look at this and may think good lord, what have we done. No BP or mid tier pharma would put up the money? I bet maybe they would have for a much smaller split, well below 50%.
I really like that they have no current ties to HIV markets. I was worried this would get bought and shelved. Not any more. I feel this company will be motivated to sell product. And despite their negative past, I bet they can raise money more effectively than Nader can. CEO has ties to Roivant. I wonder if Vivek is funding?
Let’s take it GILD, GSK and the others. BP only had one little bug to squash. Now they have two little bugs joined to squash. I want to see this little band of outcasts and criminals kick some ass. Not referring to our side of deal as criminals, of course.
My sense is Vyera really saw the opportunity and took it. Good for them.
