All, this is my first time posting on this board, but I read daily. I'm surprised at the somewhat positive reaction to the licensing deal. I'm very worried about this new partner. I'm stunned to see that we are partnering with what on paper looks like the worst imaginable partner possible. Public Enemy #1 and the poster child company for predatory perscription drug pricing. We are now fully associated with this firm. Former CEO and a significant owner of the company is in jail for fraud and one of the most hated CEOs in US corporate history. To top it off, it appears our new partner has limited sales infrastructure and limited financial resources. It isn't even clear to me how they are going to make milestone payments to CYDY.
I had the lowest of low expectations for the call but I'm beyond stunned. I could never imagine such a scenario. Please someone explain to me how Vyera, Phoenixus, Turing Pharmasecuticals is a viable partner for us.
Part of the benefit of doing a deal was supposed to be the added credibility a partner can provide. Instead it looks like leronlimab is a tool to bring credibility to our partner. I also noticed that Vyera has not PRd the deal on their site. Although I'm not sure they are even settled on whether they are going to go by Vyera or Phoenixus. Please someone help me understand what we have done...
