Open an account with TD Ameritrade... takes 10 minutes online. Then request for TD Ameritrade to have your etrade account transferred to them. You need your etrade account number handy. Ameritrade will have your etrade stock positions moved over. Etrade charges $75 to transfer the full account so have that much cash balance in your etrade account before requesting it.
It takes 3-5 business days.
